Plot Synopsis

This reality series follows former heavyweight boxer Eric 'Butterbean' Esch when he works as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Walker County, Alabama with his partner and best friend, Deputy Adam Hadder. BIG LAW follows every training session, patrol ride and bad-guy bust as Butterbean tries to make Jasper a safer and cleaner place for his kids and grandkids. During training, Butterbean practices house raids, learns defensive tactics and skills to detain suspects and armed gunmen, and gets Taser certified, which includes being shocked by 50,000 volts. On the job, he and Deputy Hadder patrol the city, investigate alleged drug houses, cultivate informants, follow leads, setup sting operations, and even go undercover.
