Plot Synopsis

Joined by her color-changing pet elephant Anoop, joyful 7-year-old girl Deepa creates music, merriment and mischief at her Indian family's Mango Manor hotel. Most half-hour episodes of DEEPA & ANOOP are comprised of two stories, with each story featuring a Bollywood number. In the series opener, "Dr. Deepa; Sticky Steps," when Anoop gets a splinter, Deepa pretends to be a doctor to help him feel better; keeping a promise to Anoop lands the family in a sticky situation! The entire 10-episode first season of DEEPA & ANOOP dropped on Monday, August 15, 2022 on Netflix.

DEEPA & ANOOP returned for its second season on Monday, November 7, 2022, as Netflix released the entire eight-episode new season. Season 2 features new stories at Mango Manor -- from sensational science experiments to mind-boggling magic tricks. In the season opener, "Perfect for Par-Nani; Play It Safe," Naani-ji wants to impress her visiting mother, but will a few hiccups ruin everything? Deepa takes her role as a protective sister a bit too seriously.
