Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews and re-enactments, DESPERATE MEASURES tells the tales of people so desperate to save a marriage, gain custody of their children or keep their hard-earned money that they commit unspeakable acts of murder and violence. Each one-hour episode features a story of a different crime, including: the tale of David Rapoport, who was engaging in a torrid affair with his mistress, Jennifer Snyder -- until she revealed a secret that could have ruined him; Dennis and Merna Koula's wealth, which became a dangerous object of envy among their children and eventually led to a deadly deception; and many more acts that are usually only found in Port Charles or on Wisteria Lane.
