Plot Synopsis

Hosted by real-life couple Stephen "tWitch" Boss and Allison Holker, DISNEY'S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS is a one-hour reality series that goes inside the intimate plans of each couple as they celebrate their unique love stories with the help of Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. With stunning venues at the Walt Disney World Resort; Disneyland Resort; Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa; on Disney Cruise Line ships and more hosting these momentous occasions, each celebration is meticulously planned with heartfelt detail and unforgettable moments for each couple. Two special couples have stories that tie them to stunning musical performances by superstar Olivia Newton-John and country music sensation Hunter Hayes. And, a sports-obsessed couple gets the opportunity of a lifetime when the NHL's Stanley Cup, one of the most iconic and oldest trophies in professional sports, makes a rare appearance at their reception.

Freeform first debuted DISNEY'S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS as a one-hour special on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT. Hosted by Bachelor alums Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, the program followed three couples through their Disney wedding journey, including a surprise performance by a cappella group Pentatonix.

Seven months later -- on Monday, December 11, 2017 -- Freeform debuted "Holiday Magic," a one-hour DISNEY'S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS holiday special, with tWitch and Allison making their debut as hosts. In this program, the audience went behind the scenes of some of the most spectacular weddings and engagements at Disney destinations around the globe during the holiday season. From a FROZEN-inspired winter wonderland wedding fit for royalty at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida celebrating Dominique and Joseph, to an intimate exchange of vows between Greg and Melanie at Disneyland Resort in California, viewers will be guests to the most talked about nuptials of the year! This special aired during Freeform's annual "25 Days of Christmas" event.

DISNEY'S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS returned for a six-episode series on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 8pm on Freeform, with eleven new couples, surprise musical performances, unexpected appearances, captivating celebrations, and of course, lots of Disney magic. From epic hidden camera engagements to romantic fairy tale weddings, each episode will showcase enchanting stories and spectacular settings from Disney destinations around the globe. In the series opener, "Relationship Goals," John has always had dreams of getting married at Disney, so when he and Emily started planning their wedding, of course it had to be at Walt Disney World! Meanwhile, high school sweethearts Chelsea and Spencer have their dream wedding in front of Cinderella Castle, rain or shine.
Moving to the online streaming service Disney+, Season 2 of DISNEY'S FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS premiered on Valentine's Day 2020 (February 14) at 3:01am ET/12:0am PT. Hosted again by real-life couple Stephen "tWitch" Boss and Allison Holker, the eight-episode second season follows couples as they celebrate life's most romantic milestone moments at Disney Parks and Resorts. From epic proposals with Disney Cruise Line, to magical weddings at Walt Disney World Resort, and meaningful anniversary trips with Adventures By Disney. The new season also features surprise performances by Jason Derulo, Chris Janson, Torri Kelly and more. Disney+ released a new episode each Friday, beginning February 14.
