Plot Synopsis

Celebrity chef Jeff 'Stretch' Rumaner travels across America, where residents deal with invasive species that threaten the local economy. With the help of hunters, food sommeliers, and celebrated chefs, Stretch catches the animals and puts them on the menu of a local restaurant. Each 30-minute episode features a different species, including: Asian carp, which Stretch tries to introduce as a new standard in Southern grub; and wild boar, which Stretch hunts with members of wildhoghunters.com and works witih Chef Jon Bonnell to make wild boar chili. On Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11pm ET, Animal Planet showed back-to-back episodes as a series sneak peek.
