Plot Synopsis

A new iteration of EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION returns with hosts Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, co-founders of the lifestyle brand The Home Edit. Alongside designers Wendell Holland and Arianne Bellizaire, Shearer and Teplin harness their organizational expertise to thoughtfully design and specifically tailor each home from the inside out. Like the original series, this re-imagining showcases heartwarming stories, inspired volunteers, and mind-blowing builds for deserving families who give back to their communities. Assisting them is a team of builders and contractors from homebuilder Taylor Morrison who re-configure the home based on the family's lifestyle and needs. In the series opener, "The Warren Family," a recent widow is given a fresh start in Austin, Texas.

On Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC premiered "Banner MD Anderson (Part 2)," the season finale of EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION. The two-part season finale wraps with the grand opening of the Wellness Center at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, Arizona; a couple facing dual cancer diagnoses moves into their Home Away from Home residence while receiving treatment. The previous week in "Banner MD Anderson (Part 1)," Clea, Joanna and crew designed and developed the brand-new Wellness Center and family residences to serve as a safe haven for patients.
