Plot Synopsis

THE FIRST 48: HOUSES OF HORROR features updates on cases from THE FIRST 48, including all-new interviews with the detectives involved with the case. On Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9-11pm ET/PT, A&E premiered two back-to-back episodes with the stories:

"House on Madrona Street" (Jan 2 at 9pm): In Atlanta, a young woman is found on the floor of an abandoned house, naked and strangled to death. As the investigation unfolds, further horrors are revealed and Detective Scott DeMeester must act fast before his suspect kills again.

"Murder in Pleasant Grove" (Jan 2 at 10pm): In Dallas, a dismembered body is found burned in an open field. With no leads on the victim's identity, detectives turn to the public for help in solving this baffling case.
