Plot Synopsis

This half-hour reality series follows military veteran couple turned real estate investors Andy and Ashley Williams as they buy, fix and flip rundown homes in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. With tight budgets and tighter timelines, every house is a bumpy ride from the buy to the fix to the sell. On Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the pilot of this series, then known as FLIPPING TEXAS, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "A Modern Ranch Flip in Hurst, Texas," Andy and Ashley flip a rundown ranch-style house in Hurst, Texas. With a tight budget and a tighter timeline, can the couple transform this dilapidated dump into a stand-out, modern ranch and turn a profit? Or will their hard work and investment go down the drain? More than eight months later, the series returned with a new title, FLIP OR FLOP FT. WORTH, for its official series premiere on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the series opener, "A Cozy Cottage Flip in Arlington Heights," Andy and Ashley take on flipping a charming cottage in the covetable Arlington Heights neighborhood just outside Ft. Worth. The house appears to be the perfect fast-money flip until they dig in and realize years of unresolved foundation issues might start to jack up their bill. Will Andy and Ashley be able to keep the budget on track and turn this house around?
