Plot Synopsis

Every year, hundreds of wanted Americans flee to Mexico to evade justice, thinking once they've crossed the border, they're home free. What these fugitives don't know is that there's an elite Mexican police unit whose sole mission is to catch them. FUGITIVE HUNTERS MEXICO is a one-hour docuseries that follows this undercover unit as they investigate, track, and capture American fugitives. With intel from the FBI, DEA, US Marshals and Mexican authorities, this taskforce locates and apprehends US fugitives hiding out in Mexico to hand them over to law enforcement in the US to face justice for their crimes. In the season opener, "Trouble in Paradise," the Fugitive Hunters get a lead on a convicted sex offender from Nevada hiding out in a beachside resort 20 miles from the US border. The agents then set up a sting operation to capture an ex-Marine wanted for drug trafficking. Next the team races to catch a man from Arizona wanted for assault and kidnapping.

On Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 9-11pm ET/PT, A&E premiered two back-to-back episodes of FUGITIVE HUNTERS MEXICO to close out the first season:

"Caught at the Border" (9pm): The Fugitive Hunters race to catch a man wanted for killing his wife in California while an American woman from rural New York ends up in prison in Mexico. The agents then help an American teenage girl get justice.

"On a Mission" (10pm): The Fugitive Hunters team up with the Mexican army when their target is connected to a notorious drug cartel. Followed by the agents pulling over a suspicious car and find two men on a deadly mission.
