Plot Synopsis

Written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE includes four 90-minute chapters, each spanning one of the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. The story opens with "Winter," written by Amy, which picks up nearly 10 years after the end of GILMORE GIRLS -- and four months after Edward's death. And, of course, the fourth installment, "Fall," ends with those infamous "final four words" that the writing duo always intended to use in the series finale. But in between those starting and ending points, the story, as expected, covers the relationships between three generations of women -- Rory, Lorelai and Emily -- revealing how they deal with each other, the men in their lives, the loss of the family patriarch, and old friends. GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE premieres globally on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
