Plot Synopsis

Each weeknight, HLN's news anchors, hosts and trial experts present and argue evidence of the day in the Jodi Arias murder trial. Vinnie Politan, Nancy Grace, Jane Velez-Mitchell, Dr. Drew and Ryan Smith analyze the day's events in court, and discuss where the case is going. Plus, they're joined by other legal contributors, who provide expertise on various aspects of the trial and the legal process, especially those topics specific to Arizona, where the case is being tried. In a trial that has captured the nation's attention, Arias is accused of shooting her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in the head, stabbing him multiple times, and slitting his throat from ear-to-ear in 2008. Arias says she killed him in self-defense, and has suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and acute memory loss in the months and years after she says she killed her lover. If convicted of first-degree murder, she could face the death penalty.
