Plot Synopsis

NATURE CONSERVANCY PRESENTS is a short-form documentary series that follows scientists and conservationists who work to help all species survive. On Wednesday, February 25, 2021, discovery+ released all three 5-minute episodes of Season 1:

"Filming the Ghost Cat": Filming the Florida panther is like trying to film a ghost. Watch as Carlton Ward, a wildlife and conservation photographer, tackles this challenge and illustrates how the story of this panther can motivate us to care about conservation.

"Protecting a Seafood Capital": Bayou La Batre is the seafood capital of Alabama, meaning it depends heavily on the conservation of its coastlines and marsh habitats. See how The Nature Conservancy works to protect this harbor from storm surge and coastal erosion.

"Aquaculture by Design": Oysters have an amazing capacity to filter water and clean our rivers. That's why the Nature Conservancy is working with oyster aquaculture growers to better understand and quantify the ecological benefits and services it provides in the Chesapeake Bay.
