Plot Synopsis

In this quarter-hour cooking series, hosts Chef Jernard Wells and Porsche Thomas serve up healthy alternatives to Southern-inspired dishes. Jernard is known for his down home fare with a healthy twist, while Porsche is one of today's most sought-after vegan cooks. In the series premiere, the two team up and prepare Jernard's Pan Seared Filet Mignon with bourbon butter Prawns and Porsche's Vegan Breakfast Burrito. NEW SOUL KITCHEN premiered on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 12:30-1pm ET on Cleo TV, with back-to-back episodes:

"Healthy Meals" (12:30pm): Chef Jernard makes his primavera stuffed chicken covered in tomato basil pasta sauce; Porsche makes her vegan watermelon sesame hokey pokey bowl.

"Duo Tacos" (12:45pm): Porsche makes vegan roasted portabello mushroom tacos with caramelized onions and a spicy corn salsa; Chef Jernard puts together his Asian taco bowl.
