Plot Synopsis

Each December 11 since 1994, THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT has paid tribute to that year's Nobel Laureate, featuring music ranging from pop and rock to jazz, classical, blues and country. Plus, the hosts describe the works that earned the person the Peace Prize, and the laureate gives a speech during the event.

Hosted by Claire Danes and Aaron Eckhart, the 20th annual NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT was taped at the Oslo Spektrum arena in Norway and aired later the same day in the United States on AXS TV from 8-9:30pm ET/5-6:30pm PT on Wednesday, December 10, 2013. The 2013 event, which honored the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for its work in Syria, featured performances by Morrissey, Jake Bugg, Mary J. Blige, James Blunt, Swedish rapper Timbuktu, Syrian musician Omar Souleyman, Swedish teen sensation Zara Larsson, and Norwegian hip hop duo Envy.
