Plot Synopsis

Narrated by news correspondent SuChin Pak, THREE DAYS TO LIVE is a one-hour series that uses re-creations and first-hand interviews from authorities and loved ones to delve into the crucial days immediately following a harrowing abduction of a woman. Each hour-long episode plunges deep into the hunt for a missing woman, flashing between reenactments of the victim desperately trying to stay alive and the detectives who are racing against the clock to save her -- because the chances of finding her alive diminish greatly if she is not found within 72 hours of her disappearance. From a young girl who is taken by a group of masked men, and held at ransom after answering a knock at the door, to a suburban South Carolina wife and mother who never returned home after a holiday shopping spree, each mystery is unraveled, and viewers will witness justice being served, no matter the outcome. In the series opener, "Teri Jendusa Nicolai," 911 dispatch receives an alarming call from a missing woman trapped in the trunk of a car. Her life, and those of her two young daughters are in danger. Investigators work around the clock to locate them before time runs out.
