Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of TINY FOOD FIGHT, host Mamrie Hart puts three talented cooks to the test in two rounds of tiny food-themed challenges -- from fair foods to birthday celebrations and bar foods to international dishes. Contestants must pack the most flavor into a single bite of food using miniature appliances and utensils. Darnell Ferguson, who first gained fans as a CHOPPED Champion, serves as the lead judge. Ferguson reviews dishes based on creativity, taste, presentation, and how well the dish fits the theme. The contestant with the best small bites in both rounds walks away with a tiny trophy and a tiny $5,000 check. TINY FOOD FIGHT dropped on Thursday, September 16, 2021, as discovery+ released two episodes. A new episode debuts each Thursday through October 14.

Over the course of the six half-hour episodes, the three contestants must create shrunken dishes and, making this feat even more difficult, they must use equally tiny kitchens and equipment. On the premiere, they must tackle classic sports bar starters in the first round with only 30 minutes on the clock. One miniature dish earns a special advantage in the next round where they must make the tiniest stacked burgers and the competition heats up as one of the tiny kitchens catches fire. The excitement continues all season long as the contestants must tackle tiny diner food from breakfast to late night munchies, as well as bold flavors from Thailand and Japan. No competition is complete, without some sweets, but making desserts the size of a quarter will prove to be difficult for these talented contestants.

TINY FOOD FIGHT made its linear television debut on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as Food Network aired back-to-back episodes:

"Tiny Big Game Bar Foods" (9pm): The big game goes tiny as host Mamrie Hart challenges three chefs to serve up the best sports bar appetizers on a very small scale. They turn out everything from baked nachos to mac and cheese balls. Then they're tasked with packing big flavor into the tiniest stacked burgers. As the competition heats up (and a tiny kitchen catches fire), judge Darnell "SuperChef" Ferguson decides which chef gets crowned the Tiny Food Fight Champion and takes home a tiny check worth $5,000.

"Tiny Diner" (9:30pm): Host Mamrie Hart welcomes three chefs to the tiny kitchen to work their tiny magic and impress judge Darnell "SuperChef" Ferguson. Their first challenge is to make a tiny diner breakfast, and hash browns, French toast and the tiniest Monte Cristo make a big appearance. Then the chefs make their best miniature late-night munchies, including chili cheese fries, a Reuben egg roll and even a tiny triple grilled cheese. Chef Darnell dishes out some tiny compliments and big critiques when deciding whose dishes deserve a gigantic, yet tiny, $5,000 check and the ultimate Tiny Trophy.
