Plot Synopsis

Held each year since 1980, the U.S. Senior Open Championship is open to any professional, or any amateur with a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding a specified limit, who is at least 50-years-old. Roberto De Vicenzo, a national hero in his native Argentina, won the inaugural event -- the first and last time the age limit was 55 instead of 50 -- with the championship's final two rounds broadcast live on television. The tournament has been telecast nationally ever since.

In 2015, the 36th U.S. Senior Open Championship tested the top senior golfers at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, CA. Play from the first two rounds aired live on Fox Sports 1 on Thursday and Friday, June 25-26, from 3-9:30pm ET/Noon-6:30pm PT each day. FOX broadcast the third and fourth rounds live on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28, from 2-7pm ET/11am-4pm. Joe Buck serves as the lead U.S. Senior Open on FOX announcer for the live action and is joined by lead analyst, World Golf Hall of Famer and two-time major champion Greg Norman in the 18th Tower throughout the week. Other analysts include Brad Faxon, Steve Flesch, Juli Inkster and Scott McCarron, while Charles Davis (Thursday-Friday) and Holly Sonders (Saturday-Sunday) conduct post-round interviews.
