Plot Synopsis

WEEDIQUETTE is a one-hour series that follows VICE correspondent Krishna Andavolu, as he explores the world of weed by meeting people whose lives hang in the balance of America's new pot paradigm. Viceland released the "Stoned Kids" episode on its YouTube channel on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, before airing the same program as a television sneak peek on Monday, February 29 at 10pm ET/PT and as the official television series premiere on Tuesday, March 1 at 11pm. In the series opener, families whose children have life-threatening cancer are taking matters into their own hands, and getting their kids super stoned -- to save their lives. Season 2 of WEEDIQUETTE premiered on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Viceland. This season finds Andavolu examining the prospect of legalized marijuana on the impoverished Native American community, meeting parents who fear losing their children to Child Protective Services for their (legal) use of medical marijuana, looking at pot use in the NFL as an alternative to highly addictive opiates to deal with chronic pain inherent to their violent sport as well as investigating caregivers in Maine who fight opioid addiction with cannabis. On Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, Viceland premiered the third season of WEEDIQUETTE. In the season opener, "Deported for Dope," Krishna follows a Virginia family torn apart by deportation due to a weed charge. The fourth season of WEEDIQUETTE premiered on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:30pm ET/PT on Viceland. In the season opener, "High Risk Pregnancies," as marijuana legalization spreads, more moms-to-be are using pot to treat their pregnancy-related symptoms; investigating the legal risk to the mother, and health risk to the fetus.

On Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 10:30pm ET/PT, Viceland premiered the Season 4 finale of WEEDIQUETTE. In the season ender, "Between Life and Dope," Krishna explores how the stigma around medical weed can have deadly consequences, following the story of a Maine man who was kicked off of an organ transplant list for using pot.
