Plot Synopsis

Using newly colorized archival footage from World War II, WWII BATTLES IN COLOR is a one-hour documentary series that uses this rare video to tell stories of the critical battles of this global conflict. The series opener uses footage to chart the German Army in 1940 as it unleashes a new Blitzkrieg tactic. Then, in the second installment, cameras roll as Nazi Germany launches an all-out assault on the Soviet Union.
