Plot Synopsis
Featuring a stylized hybrid of live action and visual effects, GREATNESS CODE is a short-form documentary series that sheds new light on sports legends, who pull back the curtain on a pivotal career moment when they touched greatness. Each 5-12 minute episode features a iconic athlete, including these stars in the first season: LeBron James, who discusses the 2012 NBA Eastern Conference Finals; Tom Brady, who chats about his one "perfect" game in his storied career; Alex Morgan, who reveals her most dominating performance for the U.S. Women's National Team; Usain Bolt, who re-lives the race that made him realize he was born to run; Shaun White, who highlights how a rocky performance at the 2018 Olympics motivated him to new heights; Katie Ledecky, who was the most decorated female athlete at the 2016 Olympics; and Kelly Slater, who chronicles the events and emotion surrounding his fifth world surfing championship. On Friday, July 10, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Apple TV+ released the entire seven-episode first season of GREATNESS CODE.
