Plot Synopsis

Based on the Liz Moore's 2020 novel of the same name, LONG BRIGHT RIVER is an eight-episode limited series that tells the story of police officer Mickey, who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case. All eight one-hour episodes of LONG BRIGHT RIVER dropped on Thursday, March 13, 2025 on Peacock:

"These Girls": A police officer investigates suspected overdoses that may be homicides and hit close to home.

"Let Me In": Questions mount in the case as Mickey grapples with her guilt; Truman finds a new suspect.

"Mother Wolf": Mickey endangers herself following up on a lead; Mickey brings Thomas and Truman to Thanksgiving.

"Blind Spot": Thomas' birthday party stirs up memories as tensions with Simon boil over and a new theory emerges.
