Plot Synopsis

IN THE KITCHEN WITH HARRY HAMLIN is a half-hour cooking series, hosted by Harry Hamlin and his niece (and classically trained chef) Renee Guilbault. Shot in Hamlin's home kitchen, the 30-minute cooking show is a unique combination of cooking, dinner party, and documentary...all with a dash of comedy and "feels" along the way. The series puts Hamlin's passion for cooking and Guilbault's expertise on full display as they share favorite recipes, practical kitchen tips and secrets for a successful dinner party that exudes casual elegance, welcoming new guests into the Hamlin kitchen each week, including Lisa Rinna, Bobby Moynihan, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Dean Norris, Tongayi Chrisisa, Ed Begley Jr., Zahn McClarnon, and Jen Richards. The five episodes are:

"The King of Bolognese" (Wednesday, May 15, 2024 on AMC+ and IFC at 10pm ET): Renee's got a new twist on her Uncle's Bolognese for Lisa Rinna (Harry's wife) and Bobby Moynihan. Harry tries to win the guests over with the tip game show host Chuck Woolery gave him.

"Harry's Linoleum Chicken" (Wednesday, May 22, 2024 on AMC+ and IFC at 10pm ET): Harry and Renee make a chicken dish for Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen and Dean Norris.

"A Mayfair Witches Garden Party" (Wednesday, May 29, 2024 on AMC+ and IFC at 10pm ET): Jen Richards and Tongayi Chirisa, of MAYFAIR WITCHES, join Harry and Renee for a garden barbecue.

"Harry's Clash of the Spices" (Wednesday, June 5, 2024 on AMC+ and IFC at 10pm ET): Harry makes a mushroom risotto that is anything but bland for his vegan friend Ed Begley Jr.

"A Meal That's Hard to F*** Up" (Wednesday, June 12, 2024 on AMC+ and IFC at 10pm ET): Harry and Renee welcome Zahn McClarnon of AMC's DARK WINDS to share a meal and swap stories.

Five months before the series debut -- on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11pm ET/PT -- IFC premiered "A Holiday Special," a half-hour IN THE KITCHEN WITH HARRY HAMLIN special. It arrives just in time for the holidays as the duo prepares a festive meal, putting their own spin on classic beef bourguignon, and celebrates the labor of love that is holiday cooking. They'll be joined by close family and friends, including Hamlin's wife, actress Lisa Rinna; saxophone legend Kenny G, Hamlin's daughter model, Delilah Hamlin; Hamlin's son model and actor, Dimitri Hamlin; and others.
