Drama searches for a new project with help from Eric and Lloyd, and a script from a comedy writer looks promising. Lizzie asks Ari for a promotion to head of the television department, but Ari has to deal with pressure from Mrs. Ari to fire her because of what happened with Andrew. Turtle reconnects with Alex after his employees quit, and Scott continues to get close with Vince and irk Eric.

The Good Guys – "Hunches and Heists" (7/19/10)

 

A minor dry cleaning robbery turns into a major bank heist operation. Dan and Jack find themselves operating solo when they need to find robbers dressed in police uniforms, and their efforts to catch the real criminals while the police are on the wrong track go ignored as usual. Dan urges Jack to follow his hunches more often, and Jack decides he can no longer keep his feelings for Liz a secret.

Melanie, Joy, and Victoria prepare for the worst as Melanie’s overprotective mother, Joy’s critical mother, and Victoria’s self-obsessed father arrive to make their lives miserable. After Melanie takes a stand and tell her mom she needs to relax, Melanie’s mother and Victoria’s father have a one-night stand. Elka delights in pestering Joy by video-chatting with her mother frequently.

Burn Notice – "Past & Future Tense" (7/22/10)

 

Jesse brings Michael and Fiona to a spy conference to have them help him try to contact his former boss and work on proving his innocence. At the conference, they spot a team of Russian assassins and work to find the American agent whose life is in jeopardy before he gets killed. Michael has to push hard to convince retired spy Paul Anderson to get back into the spy game to save his life.

Royal Pains – "Comfort’s Overrated" (7/22/2010)

 

Hank and Emily are both called by the same patient, though the patient can use all the help he can get. When his girlfriend needs to introduce her parents to her boyfriend but fears he’s too old, she propositions Hank to pose as her "faux beau." When he refuses, Evan takes the job. Divya prepares for her wedding and becomes concerned when she loses her engagement ring. Jill tries to figure out how to get her clinic off the ground.
