On the first full day of Comic-Con 2012, I spent the morning walking through Sails Pavilion, where TV fans were checking out the booths, chatting with celebs and collecting swag. In the afternoon, all TV junkies like me braved the long lines and jammed into Ballroom 20 for panels featuring USA's fan favorite PSYCH, The CW's new Fall drama BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and CBS' ELEMENTARY, a US version of SHERLOCK.

I thought I'd share a few of my photos from the day to give you a glimpse of the craziness of Comic-Con 2012 for TV fans.

THE WALKING DEAD offered fans a chance to take a photo as one of Michonne's captives.

This caused an ever-growing traffic jam around the booth.

A rebuilt version of the robot from LOST IN SPACE was a popular photo spot for fans.

The daily poster giveaway at the FOX booth is always one of

the hottest freebies of the convention.

Original Eddie Munster Butch Patrick greeted fans in the Sails Pavilion.

Herbert Jefferson Jr., Boomer on the original BATTLESTAR GALACTICA,

was one of the classic TV stars signing autographs in the Sails Pavilion.

On the PSYCH panel, Corbin Bernsen (left) loved hearing that the cast member Kirsten Nelson (center)

would like to make out with the most was Maggie Lawson (right).

The stars of PSYCH revealed that next season Shawn (James Roday, far right) will get a little serious

after Henry is shot. They also teased “Clue” and “Blair Witch Project” themed episodes for the new season.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST stars Jay Ryan (left) and Kristin Kreuk (right) discussed 

how they didn’t rely much on the original '80s series since the new version is a complete re-imagining.

Plus, producer Jennifer Levin revealed that they wooed Kristin with cupcakes.

Jonny Lee Miller (left) and Lucy Liu (right) were surprised by the turnout for the panel for their new series ELEMENTARY.

When asked how she deals with criticism of this new version of Sherlock Holmes, Liu responded,

"If I didn't do new things I would still be doing Calgon ads."
