Plot Synopsis

A group of celebrities takes on Arnold Schwarzenegger (Season 8) or Donald Trump (Seasons 1-7) in the boardroom to win $250,000 for their selected charities. The group of celebrities compete in business-driven tasks around Los Angeles (Season 8) or New York City (Seasons 1-7) using their fame, rolodexes and their business acumen to win weekly tasks, while ultimately battling with each other to stay out of the boardroom and avoid hearing those dreaded words: ''You're Fired!'' They'll be subjected to long hours, grueling mental challenges, personality clashes and intense scrutiny -- all without the help of their regular support system of agents, managers and personal assistants. Ultimately, they will face the judgment of the host and his advisers in the boardroom. The sixth installment of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, which premiered on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, was an all-star edition that included the following contestants who had previously competed: Brande Roderick, Bret Michaels, Claudia Jordan, Dennis Rodman, La Toya Jackson, Lil Jon, Omarosa, Dee Snider, Gary Busey, Lisa Rinna, Marilu Henner, Penn Jillette, Stephen Baldwin and Trace Adkins. In addition, four past winners returned as advisors for Season 6: Piers Morgan (Season 1 winner); Joan Rivers (Season 2); John Rich (Season 4); and Arsenio Hall (Season 5). A few replacement judges appeared infrequently throughout the series, including: Terry Lundgren (Season 1); Jim Cramer (Season 1, 2, 4); Vince McMahon (Season 1); Daryl Roth (Season 1); Erin Burnett (Season 2, 3); John Tisch (Season 2); Piers Morgan (Season 2); Gavin Maloof (Season 3); Trace Adkins (Season 3); Richard LeFrak (Season 3); Joan Rivers (Season 3); Bill Rancic (Season 3); James Lipton (Season 5). THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE returned for its seventh season on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 9-11pm ET/PT on NBC, and then settled into its regular time slot: Mondays from 8-10pm. For its eighth season, the series, now called THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, shifts to Los Angeles, where twice-elected California governor and international movie superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger reigns over the boardroom . On Monday, February 13, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, NBC premiered the season finale of THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE. In the season ender, "I Don't Have Time for Anyone's Ego Except My Own," the final task from Carnival Corporation is well underway and the stakes have never been higher. The two finalists -- Matt Iseman and Boy George -- aided by familiar faces from this season, have been tasked with preparing an ad campaign, hosting a party and producing a mini-variety show, with each one hoping to be named the New Celebrity Apprentice. Exciting music performances from legendary artists and special guests such as Caitlyn Jenner add to the fun of their events as the final two also compete to raise the most money in ticket sales and donations for their respective charities. Later, the Governor makes his most difficult decision this season in naming the New Celebrity Apprentice winner and awarding them with a $250,000 check for their designated charity.
