On Day 2, Ballroom 20 was the place to be once again, and by 8am the line stretched outside and down to the marina. This meant it was time for plan B -- the exhibit hall and other rooms, where quality shows like FALLING SKIES and SPARTACUS: VENGEANCE held their panels.

On Friday at Comic-Con 2011, Room 6BCF hosted much-anticipated panels for FALLING SKIES and NCIS:LA. Even though FALLING SKIES is new, the series had a cult following in search of backstory, spoilers and tidbits. Fans of NCIS: LA came out to learn about the technology featured in the show and meet the cast.

Ballroom 20 was the place to be on Thursday, the first official day of Comic-con, as thousands of fans waited to get in for panels featuring BURN NOTICE, COVERT AFFAIRS, PSYCH, RINGER, GAME OF THRONES, and TV Guide's fan favorites. I spent all day in the same room, and I thought I'd share my photos to highlight each panel.

On Thursday, the first full day of the conference, Ballroom 20 had a steady stream of exciting panels, so it was a good place to be for the bulk of the day. BURN NOTICE: THE FALL OF SAM AXE, COVERT AFFAIRS, PSYCH, RINGER, GAME OF THRONES PANEL AND Q&A SESSION, and TV GUIDE MAGAZINE: FAN FAVORITES all took place in that room.

Comic-Con 2011 starts in two days, and it's time to feature some of the convention's best TV drama panels. If you're interested in shows like RINGER, TORCHWOOD and FRINGE, then you should get to Ballroom 20 early and just sit there all day, for three consecutive days -- Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Then you can kickstart your Sunday in a different room, Hall H, for DOCTOR WHO and SONS OF ANARCHY.

Early this morning Melissa McCarthy (MIKE & MOLLY) and Joshua Jackson (FRINGE) announced nominees for the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. MODERN FAMILY thoroughly dominated the competition, as every adult peformer was nominated -- and Ed O'Neill received his first Emmy nod. But SONS OF ANARCHY was completely ingored, which should at least provide entertaining tweets from series creator Kurt Sutter.
