Plot Synopsis
Chronicles the early years of singers Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson; their cousin, Mike Love, and friend, Al jardine, who, as teenagers, went from humble beginnings in Southern California and rose to meteoric fame and fortune in the 1960s and early 1970s. Behind the upbeat ''surf sound'' the group was demoralized by their domineering, father/manager who claimed responsibility for their success, yet at the same time envied them and their accomplishemts. The group tried to hold it together as drugs and self-destructive behavior tore them apart.
