Plot Synopsis
Based on the book. When an American divorcee marries a British duke they settle in France and are soon separated by the hardships of World War II. After the war, shrewd business maneuvers enable the family to open a high class jewelry store, turning it into a vast business empire over the years. All of which causes hidden rivalries and family power struggles.
