Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Armistead Maupin. The continuing saga of the gay and straight residents of a small apartment house in 1981 San Francisco. Michael Tolliver pursues cops, cowboys and closeted movie stars while getting over a breakup. Mary Ann works on becoming a reporter and debates marrying boyfriend Brian. Transsexual landlady Anna Madrigal meets a new beau and lesbian socialite DeDe returns from the dead after the Jonestown Massacre with a real fear for her newly adopted kids.
