Plot Synopsis
Part documentary, part drama this film recreates the crucial events of April 12, 1945 through August 14, 1945. Intercutting 50-year-old documentary and newsreel footage with dramatized reenactments and present-day interviews with survivors, key military personnel and scientists. Both American and Japanese points of view are explored and how their judicious decisions ultimately effected the world.
