Plot Synopsis
Chronicles the rise and fall of dictator Saddam Hussein from 1979 when he seized control of Iraq in a bloody coup to his capture in 2003 by US forces during the war in Iraq. Retelling events from inside the heart of the regime, his relationships and his actions from behind closed doors as he wages war with Iran, Kuwait and brutally oppresses his own people. Saddam became one of the most significant political figures in recent history.
