Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Dean Koontz. In a cabin in Northern California a woman, haunted by memories of her terrible childhood, witnesses a serial killer slaughter a family she is visiting. She hides undetected, but when the intruder takes the limp body of her friend as a trophy, she risks her own life and follows him. She soon finds herself a prisoner at the madman's home. In a battle of wits with the brilliant psychopath she fights for her life.
