Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Max Gallo. The rise and fall of the French emperor from 1995-1807. After scoring bold victories in Austria and Egypt, General Napoleon returns home and marries his beloved Josephine then sets out to seize control of the government after the bloody French Revolution. He becomes Emperor of the French. He survives an assassination attempt , takes a Polish mistress and is beaten soundly by the Prussian army in the Battle of Waterloo which leads to his exile.
