Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel. A Washington state coastal fishing community is terrorized by an elusive,vengeful giant squid. The island's greedy patriarch, fearing the beast will ruin his commercial interests, wants the monster destroyed. An environmentally sensitive fisherman begs his neighbors to pity the poor creature, arguing that it is only feeding on humans because the local waters are fished out. But when his best friend is attacked by the squid, he soon joins the hunt to kill the rogue sea demon.
