Plot Synopsis

A reimagined take on L. Frank Baum's "The Wizard of Oz". A fierce tornado rips DG from her life as a waitress in the Midwest and deposits her in The Outer Zone (O.Z.), a fantastical land filled with wonder but oppressed by dark magic. It has been plunged into a decade-long night of fear by the sorceress Azkadellia. Heeding the whisper of her own emerging memories, DG realizes that only she can halt Azkadellia's twisted master plan. Along the way, she is joined by a decidedly strange trio of companions-"Glitch", an odd man missing half his brain; "Raw", a quietly powerful wolverine-like creature longing for inner courage, and "Cain", a heroic former policeman seeking vengeance for his scarred heart. In the adventure of a lifetime, DG discovers her true identity, battles evil winged-monkey-bats, and attempts to fulfill her destiny.
