Plot Synopsis
A retarded, unmarried woman, who lives with her daughter and her devoted mother, finds her life in turmoil when her mother suddenly dies. Her daughter becomes her legal guardian-a turn of events that not only is battled in court by an Aunt, but may prevent her daughter from attending medical school. Long held resentments and family secrets are ultimately resolved.
