Plot Synopsis

Based on a short story by Robert Silverberg. A very hip, though misunderstood L.A. artist befriends a human-consuming alien, who is on the run from government authorities. As their relationship develops, she teaches the morphing being how to act like a human as to avoid capture. As the government agents close in, the duo gives wild chase across the California desert, as the beleaguered alien attempts to rendezvous with its spaceship.
