Plot Synopsis
Chronicles the 1969 first lunar landing with astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Mike Collins. The Apollo 11 crew is driven beyond limits of human endurance by a near impossible training schedule as they race to beat the Russians to be first on the moon. The astronauts triumph over every obstacle leading up to the landing which became a stellar accomplishment not only for NASA but for all mankind.
