Plot Synopsis

On the morning of her senior prom, Monica, a high school tech-whiz, is determined to be crowned prom queen. But, on the big day, everything that can go wrong does go wrong, starting with her sudden and epically uncontrollable hair and her once lovely but now destroyed prom dress. On top of that, Liz, a down-on-her-luck cop, hot on the trail of missing jewels, mistakenly enlists her. Her prom day goes from bad to mad as a dogged jewel thief pursues them on a wild ride across the city.
