Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''You Must Be Dreaming'' by Barbara Noel with Kathryn Watterson. In 1984, Chicago singer Barbara Noel struggles to bring charges against world-renowned psychiatrist, Jules Masserman when she accuses him of raping her after he had sedated her into an unconscious state. After former patients come forward with similar horror stories the eminent doctor loses his license to practice medicine and is suspended for five years from the American Psychiatric Association.
