Plot Synopsis
In the 1960s when their husbands were tragically assassinated, Coretta Scott King, wife of Dr. Martin Luther King, and Dr. Betty Shabazz, wife of Malcom X, not only inherited the mantle of the civil rights movement in America, but also found themselves single mothers who had to find a way to raise and support their children with no husband or father. Their shared struggles and commitment to the African-American community resulted in a lasting friendship that spanned more than three decades.
