Plot Synopsis

Based on the song by Dolly Parton. A up and coming Nashville country singer must come to terms with her troubled past before she can move forward and achieve national success. With the help of her new guitarist she faces the abuse she received from her tyrannical father and breaks with her controlling manager/boyfriend. With her demons gone, she is filled with a newfound strength and gets a chance at the big time when a major record company owner agrees to hear her sing.
