Plot Synopsis

The chief of medicine at a Denver Hospital uncovers the truth surrounding an eight year old boys bizarre symptoms and unexpected relapses. It seems the childs' overly protective mother is suffering from Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome, a psychological disorder that strikes single, insecure mothers who use their children to draw attention to themselves, causing them to deliberately make their child ill while appearing full of love and concern.
