Plot Synopsis
In 1992, a successful car salesman loses his job and health benefits for taking too much time off work when his teenage daughter is stricken with a rare form of cancer. While struggling to make ends meet, he comes to the attention of senator who persuades the beleaguered father to lobby Congress to pass the Family and Medical Leave Act. Before his daughter dies, she gets to meet President Clinton who vows to get the bill passed so families would be protected in times of crisis.
