Plot Synopsis

Due to budget cuts, two New York City private high schools are forced to merge into the newly formed co-ed Cater-Cresswell Academy and have not, as of yet, blended into one harmonious body. It's especially stressful for the award-winning choral groups of the two former schools -- old rivalries die-hard. Now, music teachers Diana Deason and Ken Stoddard must compete for a single music department position by entering dueling musical acts in a televised Christmas song competition. The success of either group will determine the fate of the music department and who will get the job as the school's only music director. In a heated battle of the sexes and music styles, the teachers and their students will do anything to win. As the musical teams duke out their differences, romantic sparks begin to ignite between Diana and Ken. Confused by these new-found feelings, Diana is forced to reevaluate her priorities and choose what is really worth fighting for. Together, students and teachers learn the true meaning of Christmas.
