Plot Synopsis

With Christmas approaching, Jennifer Wade, a lifestyle expert and up-and-coming television show host, busily prepares for her show's highly anticipated national debut. Overwhelmed by the stress of the New York holiday season and by her agent's pressure to promote the show, she decides to take a trip to Aspen, Colorado, to relax for the holidays. On her way there, she encounters a treacherous snowstorm, which causes her rental car to skid off the road and crash, leaving her stranded in a small Colorado town. Disoriented and suffering from a bout of memory loss, she is rescued by John Blake, a handsome local veterinarian and single dad to three adorable young children, who takes her in to recuperate in his charming rural home. As she struggles to remember who she is and where she came from, she helps John and his kids prepare for Christmas, becoming increasingly attached to them while enjoying the town's cheerful holiday festivities. But just as she starts feeling like she's a part of John's family and finds herself falling for him, her New York agent arrives on the scene, jogging her memory and enabling her to finally recall her true identity. When she returns to the fast lane of New York City, she begins missing the simple family life she left behind in Colorado. On Christmas Eve, with her television career set to take off, she must decide if a bustling career in New York is the life she truly wants.
