Plot Synopsis

Chronicles the rise to stardom of 1990's girl group TLC, composed of singers Tionne "T Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, from their humble beginnings in Atlanta, GA to becoming one of the world's most celebrated, and highest-selling female groups of all time. Early on they were managed by Perri "Pebbles" Reid who got them a deal with Babyface Edmonds and L.A. Reid at LaFace Records. Their first album became a platinum seller and they were soon in demand around the world. But their incredible success was beset by turbulent relationships, legal issues, medical problems and financial troubles. Tragedy struck in 2002 when Lopes died in a car accident in Honduras. Their message of female empowerment changed the face of the music industry forever.
