Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Beverly Lowry. Writer Beverly Lowry, befriends death row inmate, Karla Faye Tucker who, was convicted for a 1983 double murder. As Lowry gets to know the now ''born again'' Tucker she finds that the unusual friendship begins to help heal her agony over the loss of her teenage son in a hit-and run-accident. Although Lowry worked hard to get the sentence commuted, Tucker was the first woman executed in Texas since the Civil War in 1998.
