Plot Synopsis
On August 1991 a young black child is hit and killed by a car driven by a Hasidic man in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The accident exacerbates the long simmering tension between neighboring Hasidic Jews and African-Americans, resulting in three days of rioting. Two opposing community leaders find that they must join forces and look for a way to bring together the youth from their communities.
