Plot Synopsis

Based on the books by Valerie Sayers. When a shy 16-year-old girl falls for a new boy who recently moved to her small southern town she feels a sense of belonging for the first time. He is killed in a motorcycle accident and she discovers she's pregnant and attempts to hide it for as long as she can. Her father meets and begins dating a troubled local woman who discovers the teens secret and soon becomes her primary source of comfort and support. Together, they help each other get control of their lives and make life altering decisions.
